These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of the website at ownlee.co (the "Site") and explain the basis on which OwnLee provides information about its services. Please read them carefully. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by [PLACEHOLDER: company name, e.g. OwnLee Inc.] ("OwnLee", "we", "us" or "our"), a corporation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada (corporation number [PLACEHOLDER: Ontario corporation number]). Our mailing address is [PLACEHOLDER: mailing address]. You can reach us at info@ownlee.co.
OwnLee designs and builds custom business systems for organizations. A system can include a CRM, team and HR tools, a business email suite, a website and our AI assistant, Lee. Each system is built for one client and runs as that client's own instance.
Content on the Site, including descriptions, package names, examples, the calculator and any savings or payback estimates, is general information. It is not an offer, a quote or a guarantee of results. Calculator figures are estimates based on the inputs you enter and typical assumptions; your actual costs and savings will depend on your organization.
Any build, hosting, maintenance or support work is governed by a separate written agreement between OwnLee and the client (a "Client Agreement"). If anything in these Terms conflicts with a Client Agreement, the Client Agreement governs.
OwnLee builds each system for a one-time build fee. Once the build fee is paid in full, the client owns its system as described in its Client Agreement, and there are no per-seat licence fees for that system. The Client Agreement sets out exactly what is transferred, including any pre-existing tools, libraries or components that OwnLee uses across projects and licenses to the client rather than transfers. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm ownership/IP transfer wording with counsel and match Client Agreement]
OwnLee hosts, maintains and supports each client instance on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with files stored in Amazon S3. Hosting, maintenance and support are quoted separately from the build at a fixed monthly rate set out in the Client Agreement.
Lee is available with pricing and usage terms set out in the Client Agreement. Lee uses artificial intelligence to answer questions and help with tasks. AI-generated responses can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing Lee's output before relying on it, especially for medical, financial or other important decisions.
